Terms and Conditions

Use of this site is provided by ActionAid, subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Your use constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as at the date of your first use of the site.

2. ActionAid reserves the rights to change these Terms and Conditions at any time by posting changes online. Your continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of this agreement as modified.

3. You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes and in a manner which does not infringe the rights, or restrict, or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the site by any third party.

4. This site and the information, names, images, pictures, logos regarding or relating to ActionAid are provided 'as is' without any representation or endorsement made and without warranty of any kind whether express or implied. In no event will ActionAid be liable for any damages including, without limitation, indirect or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever arising from the use or in connection with such use or loss of use of the site, whether in contract or in negligence.

5. ActionAid does not warrant that the functions contained in the material contained in this site will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that this site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy and reliability of the materials.

6. ActionAid will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the site are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been mispublished, including prices and promotions.

7. If you place an order online to purchase a product from ActionAid we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we deliver the product to you. Any products on the same order which we have not delivered to you do not form part of that contract.

8. To cancel an order, or to make changes to it, please
contact us as soon as possible, as we are only able to cancel/change your order prior to despatch.

9. If for any reason you want to return a product please
contact us within 14 days of receipt, and you will be advised on the appropriate procedure. We reserve the right to withhold a sum from the refund to cover our costs in the original delivery of the product to you. We do not refund any costs you incur in returning unwanted goods. This does not affect your statutory rights.

10. If any items delivered to are found to be defective within 30 days from the date of delivery, please
contact us and we will arrange to either replace or refund the defective items.

11. All copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material or content supplied as part of the site shall remain at all times vested in us or our licensors. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us or our licensors. Some documents and photos have been published on this site with the permission of the relevant copyright owners (who are not ActionAid). All rights are reserved on these documents and permission to copy them must be requested from the copyright owners (the sources are indicated within these documents/photographs).

12. ActionAid takes no responsibility for the content of external internet sites.

13. Any communication or material that you transmit to, or post on, any public area of the site including any data, questions, comments, suggestions, or the like, is, and will be treated as, nonconfidential and nonproprietary information.

14. If there is any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and rules and/or specific terms of use appearing on this site relating to specific material then the latter shall prevail.

15. These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
